HVPR Members Active on Local Car Show Scene
HVPR members, Tony Scarpelli , Al & Linda Crane, Al Becker, Tom Murphy, John Wyatt, George Maculley , John Atkinson, and Larry and Kathy Munk had a great time at the Classic Cruisers Car Club annual Labor Day Show at Coastal Church in Yorktown. The show had almost 200 cars, trucks, and motorcycles on display and benefited the Church Youth ministry. Hundreds of spectators joined with automotive enthusiasts to talk about memories and share stories. A Boy Scout Troop from Ft Eustis served up hot dogs, burgers and cold drinks.

Jim Elliott’s 1912 Cadillac Torpedo, freshly finished from a 6 year restoration. won the General Motors/Dave Holls Award For The Most Outstanding General Motors Car. This took place at the Amelia Island Concours d’ Elegance , May 23, 2021 at Amelia Island , Florida. https://www.ameliaconcours.org/
June 5th Display at AACA Annual Meeting – Williamsburg VA
JUNE 5TH TRAACA/HVPR JOINT CAR DISPLAY FOR AACA NATIONAL MEETING IN WILLIAMSBURG – With the AACA National Membership Meeting being held in Williamsburg June 3-5, we have a great opportunity to show off our vehicles and also provide a nice feature for AACA members from all over the country. We are going to provide an open display of antique vehicles Saturday (June 5th) in the back lot of the Doubletree Hotel in Williamsburg (50 Kingsmill Road, Williamsburg, VA 23185). You can drive your car to the National Meeting and attend the judges school and workshops while others enjoy looking at your pride and joy!
